December 2022

Scout fans!

We’re back with an update on what happened in November and December 2022. As we write this, Seattle is rapidly approaching 5pm sunsets and we’re all ready for that. Let’s dig in.

  • Building 1: Framing started
  • Building 2: Framing work in progress
  • Building 3: Framing substantially complete
  • Building 4: Framing substantially complete
  • Building 5: Framing substantially complete. Roofing, windows, garage doors, and exterior doors have been installed. MEP rough-in started.
  • Building 6: Siding is approximately 70% complete. MEP rough ins are substantially complete and final inspections are soon to be completed. Roof install is complete and windows, garage doors, and exterior doors have been installed. Insulation is in progress.

Looking good in your little corner of Shoreline, Scout. We’ll see you next month.

October 2022

Well Scout, the days are short here in Seattle, but work continues.

  • Building 1: Footings have been poured.
  • Buildings 2 & 3: Have new slabs and next up is framing starts.
  • Buildings 5 & 6: Have been framed up to the floor 3 and L3 walls are in progress.

Stay warm and dry and we’ll see you soon.

September 2022

Footing excavation on buildings 2 and 3 occurred from mid-late August and while we aimed to have building 1 excavated as well, we’ve run out of space for site logistics to tackle all excavations at once. Still to come throughout September: Lumber and hardware drops for the 1st floor walls of buildings 5 and 6 with framing to follow. Scout will get started on backfill in mid-Sept and after buildings 5 and 6 begin excavation, building 1 will shortly follow. Elsewhere, Post-slab pour we’ll undergo footings pour on building 3 and wall pour on 2 and 3 as well as form stripping and material demobilization.

Stay cool, Scout!

July 2022

It’s possible we shouldn’t have said anything about Juneuary, because this month our brave crew worked in our longest Seattle heat wave ever!

  • Storm structures and sewers are completely installed.
  • Buildings 4, 5 & 6 foundations are in and ready for backfill.

Let’s meet back here next month and chat more about Scout.

June 2022

Juneuary means NOTHING to our intrepid team. Sure it’s cold and wet. We’ve got this.

90% of storm structures have been installed. (Could be we’ll need them up here.) Cuts beginning on buildings 4, 5, and 6.

Short but sweet. See you next month, Scout fans.

Enjoy the last of your fully horizontal days, Ruby. Vertical is coming atcha. See you next month!

May 2022

Hey Scout, here we are with our first update – we’re so excited to get started!

First task – scraping the topsoil is finished. Now we’re excavating for the storm retention tank and catch basin (CB) structures. Tank and structures have arrived and are ready to go in.

Meet us back here next month for all things Scout.
