February 2023
Work on the east garage continues at Ellie May.
We’ve also got some amazing drone footage that you can check out here to get a sense of what’s happening at our favorite East Austin hotspot.
November 2022 – January 2023
Hey, hey, Ellie May – let’s talk about what happened in November, December, and January.
- November: Brought us to 75% completion in the West Garage and 40% in the East Garage.
- December: Got us one West Garage with excavation and retention complete. East Garage is 70% complete – we ran into a little groundwater (expected, no worries) which slowed things a little but we’ll be back high and dry next month.
- January: The east garage is in progress. Original farmhouse move continues as we get set on final positioning.

Ellie May Hooray: Let’s check in.
That got deep: Excavation and retention are both underway for below-grade parking.
The original farmhouse has been relocated to another part of the site in preparation for its exciting future life as a neighborhood restaurant.
It won’t be long until we start to see the buildings start to take shape.

Here is our first update for Ellie May! This is very big.
Construction is mobilizing. Fencing added to site. Driveway added to site. It’s all happening and it’s super exciting to see how Ellie May is starting up.
